What did Springer Precision want to charge you to do a grip chop? I think its an excellent idea, it's what has been stopping me from buying one. You get the best of both worlds, Concealed carry and More accurate shooting with longer barrel and sight radius. I'm glad I read this, Thanks.

I've got a 3.8 compact that I carry in a crossbreed supertuck that conceals under nearly anything. For my 4.5 I have a Spartan Village kydex belt holster made for the gun with the TLR-1 installed. I can still conceal this under a loose t-shirt, only really printing if I bend over at the waist. It hold the gun fairly high and tight to the body.

i carry my 4.5 9mm all the time concealed in a shoulder holster. With the right shoulder holster i do not print at all and i have done no modifications to the gun at all

I am waiting on my CCW to come back in the mail so I CAN carry my 3.8 9mm xdm lol.
