Look on youtube for any videos about one of the tuckable holsters. You'll find some that show how tucking works.

Ankle holster for 45 cal?
I have carried the XD 5" tactical 45 in a Cross Breed Super Tuck daily in the Phoenix Az desert for the past two years. Works great and is very comfortable.
I would like to add a backup gun in an ankle holster. Currently, the XDM 45 Compact is the smallest 45 cal Springfield makes. Has anyone tried to carry this model in an ankle holster? I could go with the 40 cal which is 1/4 inch shorter and is listed by most ankle holster makers. But, I really like the 45 caliber.
Suggestions and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I have one. It's nice. I haven't tried the Crossbreed though. Personally I'd rather carry OWB.
