Time to renew....
My C&R which expires August 1st... just mailed in the forms and my $30 check, we'll see how long things take. They did ask a question I don't recall from previously, to wit:
1. How many firearms have you bought or acquired the last three years using this license? and
2. How many firearms did you sell or dispose of the last three years using this license?
My answers were 6 and 0, respectively.

That must be on the renewal only form? I know some people who have had their 03 longer than me, so Ill ask them if its relatively new.
And my answer to the last question is in the sig.

They may be trying to standardize the questions between the various forms. I know with the 01 and 07 they ask due to the fact that if you state that you're not looking to make a profit, and are only looking to save on FFL fees at your LGS, they will deny you right then and there.
I don't know for sure though.

That would not apply to an FFL03 since this is not a license for selling weapons, even curios and relics. Any such transfers are 'incidental to the license' private transactions.

Right. But they may just be asking the questions on all of the FFL forms, whether that question needs to be asked or not. Again, I don't know.

From the time BATF cashed my check (5/17) until they mailed the license (7/19 postmark) was just over two months.
