entry level for a lefty beginner

This is a discussion on entry level for a lefty beginner within the Bullpup Talk forums, part of the Long Gun Talk category; which bullpup would you recommend to a left handed shooter? I am new to bullpups. What would a entry level rifle cost? Pictures is possible. ...

The most entry level bullpup you could find that can be set up for a lefty would be the Walther G22. It is a 22lr bullpup, and the chargine handle and ejection port can be set up for a right or left handed shooter. I bought mine used for 300 bucks.

Larger caliber bullpups like the FN FS2000 (which I have) and the Keltec RFB eject cases from a port in the front of the firearm, and are totally ambidextrous. They are also very expensive (I paid 1650 for my FS2000, and the RFB is around that, IIRC.).

The FN PS90 i believe is bottom ejecting, so it would work for a lefty, and the Steyr AUG can be set up for a lefty. Both of those are are also expensive.

The FS2000 runs what, 1800-2000 grand or so with the Keltec around 1600.

they're both suppose to be fantastic rifles though.

yeaaaaah....seems the Keltec is looking to be the cheapest way into something lefty compliant. I want one. .308 that'll shoot 1MOA reliably at a very short overall length.

If you want 308: Kel Tec RFB
If you want 223: FN FS2000
If you want 5.7x28: FN PS90

None of those are cheap but cheap bullpups are not lefty friendly. Minimum price is going to be over a grand.

Beretta ARX-160 .22lr. They are being released this summer and will be around $520. It's completely ambidextrous and looks kick ass. Here a link to a video.

Edit: Ok, not a bullpup. My bad.
