I had a very pleasant experience at Scheel's. Granted I had to wave $600 in cash in front of the salespersons face before he got me what I wanted, but yeah

Went to the local Dicks looking at game cams and ammo once. had a 357 on hip oc style(perfectly legal here in Va.) as soon as we walked in they announced a security check and the rest of our time there we had a parade of employees constantly around us! everywhere we turned there was another employee(until i wanted to see a locked up item...then there wasn't anyone around).Never felt so uncomfortable! I would expect this reaction from say a bank but a sporting good store that sells guns...Dicks wont see any of my money again!

I have to agree on piss poor service and pricing. The one I went to Lexington ky was always good when I was there. Here in Asheville NC major bummer factor. But they dud have like 6 s&w m&p 1522 moe's the other day. Since that is my next purchase I will check with them after all the locals.

Im surpeised that they stay in business and have so many locations. They are GROSSLY overpriced on EVERYTHING. I don't go in their to buy anything.
