Make sure you check the rear of your receiver...Savage is goofy...they had a round and a tapered receiver....the rounded rear receivers are the newer receivers.
I personally always use a one piece base. I do not like the two piece bases. I don't know what your intended use for the rifle is, but from the looks of the rifle/scope it's going to be a hunting rig. If it's just a hunting rig, you will be alright with a 0MOA base...the Burris xtreme rings aren't too bad on the wallet and they are decent quality.
