The guy was using new reloads that weren't exactly fitting well into his chamber. Dude was slamming the bolt handle with his palm trying to get the cases to lock in. The guy was also slamming the bolt forward full force from the rearmost position back and forth trying to ram the cases into chamber in an attempt to squeeze the rounds in so the bolt could close.
fail

The consensus was the ammo. It is a dtc so needs to have the brass crimped down and then fireformed back to the right size. He was using a hammer to force the round in. Probably not formed correctly and boom it fired when it was only partially engaged. Seems to have stood up farely well considering.

Not sure if it was a KABOOM or just a hardware failure...A KABOOM usually results in parts flying all over the place. That's more like a KERCHANK!

Dude got one hell of an owie because the bolt blew back because it probably wasn't locked.

ONCE AGAIN...failure of RELOADS!!! NOT of the actual weapon itself!

THESE are KABOOMS

With that said....that SUUUUUUUUUUUUX..
I hope he A. Learned a lesson and B. Heals quickly!

You think shrapnel flying around and breaking several bones is NOT a Kaboom? with a 50 BMG?
