I like the XCR, multi-caliber, adjustable gas system, and monolithic upper.

But LWRC is basically an AR and can use almost all the AR accessories without issues.

POF is another "AR" piston option but I don't like the look of them and there is enough seizure reports to turn me off.

SCAR and Masada are other options we have not seen yet, but I think I'll pass on both of these for the LWRC.

The Colt above is late to the game, might turn out to be a decent weapon but will offer no more than what the LWRC does.

Right now I am set on LWRC because I just like the look and feel of them, and their commercials are pretty cool too, probably exagerated, but cool none the less

Yep I heard Gas Pistons AR's were started back in the 60's. I wonder why Stoner did not put a piston in the AR15/AR10 but he decided to in the AR18?

Stoner was no dummy, if he really believed the AR15 needed a piston I am sure he would have added one.

Not necessarily. It could have been a cost cutting move, I mean it is for the military

It wouldn't be the first time a gun was changed because of military mandate.

Good point. I think adding a piston to an AR will only help it. Only negative I can see is it does put more parts in the gun and therefore makes it more complicated and more prone to failure, but if you seen the LWRC up close, it is an excellent design with a beefy piston. Hence the reason the LWRC is on my WANT WANT list.

You have one in the pipe line for purchase, correct? I hope the deal goes through for you. The LWRC is a great gun and you are an owner who will fully appreciate it.

I have one set, just got to save up the funds. My friend in Scottsdale AZ has 2, he told me if I do not buy it from him he will not mind as he can turn it into an SBR. But I told him to HOLD IT!

Hey what happened to your plastic fantastic? I thought that was the best gun ever? I hope you don't mind me saying that thing is the biggest POS I have ever seen?
