on your upper you can spend virtually as little to as much as you want the possibilities are endless

most entry priced uppers will include stock plastic hand guards basic BCG/CH, will be chromoly and run $300-$400 without BUIS from there they will offer upgrades such as Chromelined barrles, BUIS, Differnt Gas Blocks, Rails, Enhanced BCG differnt changing handles such as the gas buster or differnt latch systems for it,

ive seen uppers go for as much as $2500 for the upper alone,

of course later on when you decided on the optics you want you will dump another $400-$1500 in to it.

but every time it goes bang it will be worth every penny,

usually, read all of the description when ordering. most will tell you what is and what is not included.

don't forget you can find some websites offer complete rifle builds, which come with everything EXCEPT the striped lower receiver.

depends,

STAG, DPMS, DELTON CMMG normally include a standard BCG/CH with their complete uppers, LMT, COLT, Novesie do not but normally have an option to add one a discounted price

a good suggestion is go thourgh the picture thread at the top, and find a rifle that you think you might like then start asking questins about it. and in sure one of us can lead you in the right direction as to what parts and about how much it would cost new as well as where to find one
