ar15sales

Has anyone here ordered from ar15sales.com.

I ordered a RRA Varmint A4 from them back in June. I know RRA is taking forever on orders, that's not the issue.

I can't get any reply to email now, and the phone rings straight to voicemail. When the voicemail system answers, it says the mailbox is full.

I'm tempted to do a chargeback and cancel the whole thing.

I have ordered from Pete (the owner of ar15sales) twice. Once was a complete RRA Rifle and once was some parts for a build. Both transactions went smoothly but I will say communication was not great. In fact when ordering the parts, I never got an email that my order had shipped and when I sent an email asking about it, it went unanswered. Then, a couple days later the package just showed up. He's a bit abrupt on the phone too, but his prices are good enough for me to overlook it. Not sure what is going on now with the full voicemail though. That would concern me. My last order with him was a couple of months ago.

I won't order from somebody that can't provide a tracking number. I like to know what day it's "out for delivery". It's too easy for someone to walk up and take it!

Please, check out Mitchell Supply:* Your AR-15 Specialists, and send an email or call them. Jim usually has what is needed in stock, and his prices are pretty good, or at least have been. Jim is also ligit as I go there and talk to the guy.

Pete at AR15Sales.com is top notch in my book. He's one of the largest distributors of ARs in the country for a reason. I bought my first RRA from him.

Ive ordered some things from pete as well. I got a little frustrated with how busy the guy is, hes almost impossible to get a hold of. He also lost the FFL copy and didnt say anything about it. I finally got ahold of him and figured it out and sent him another one. He shipped that day, and I havent had any more problems. I think he tries to be as helpful as possible, but he just has a HUGE workload to deal with.

I really like Pete. I'd say keep calling him and trying to get through. Have you tried to email him?

You won't have any problems dealing with him. You'll get your stuff, no worries.

I've met him, and bought a lower at his office in NH. He's a good guy. Insanely busy though. I'll do more business with him in the future.
