i've been reading several reviews on the STAG-15 Model 2T 5.56mm each review had good things to say about this AR-15. Its also very cool looking

i sort of have one. what i have is a DPMS lower with a stag LPK and a STAG 2HT upper which is the same upper in that review. its been perfect thus far and comes with samson FF rails, F-Marked FSB ARMS 40L rear flip up sight, and a chrome lined barrel and chamber,

A buddy of mine has one... Well, not exactly the Model 2T but a STAG, and he's never had any issues with it.
Some of you may have already seen his rifles.

I also owned a 2HT upper and had no problems with it after many hundreds of rounds. My only gripe was the carrier gas key not being properly staked but that was an easy fix. A Stag rifle will do well for you.

Stewie, what's the barrel and hand guard length on your friends Stag? I just ordered a Stag 2T, should be here in a couple of weeks. I had them remove the FSB and replace it with a low-profile gas block. I'm thinking of changing out the Carbine length hand guard for either a mid or rifle length Samson Star-{M|R} or Daniel Defense Lite-Rail. I'm trying to get an idea of the proportions of a mid-length and rifle length handguard in relation to a 16" barrel.

When it comes in I'll give you my impressions. I also read god things about it, initially it was between Stag and RRA.

Yes and I love this rifle. Lifetime Warranty also makes it a good choice.
Next purchase is EOTECH.
