Just in case (96 AWB ?)
During the '96 AWB if you had a stripped lower pre ban, was it grandfathered in?
I'm trying to decide if I should pick up 3-4 stripped lowers to keep on hand for future builds or just complete 1 more rifle now.

'94 ban
No, it had to be assembled into a complete rifle and documented. After that if you stripped it back down was up to you.

just take a picture of it with a news paper, preferably with film just make sure you can see the s/n and the date in the same pic. if you have a compleate rifle just take it apart and build it on each lower you have, but preferably with a different upper like a friends just so they all dont look exactly the same
