since this has already been started i won't start another one can anyone tell me if there is any real benefit of the 552 over the 512 i will be getting one picked up for me next week by a buddy of mine that can get them at cost.

pretty much i can get a 512 BNIB for $335 or i can get the 552 BNIB for $390 since i have no intention of buying any NVG and will have no use for that feature is there any other reason i should get a 552 or are all other functions the same on both.
