The base model EOTECH that runs on N style batts. No NV setting just on and off and a bijillion (okay not that many) brightness settings.

so, that would be the 511 right? that's the one I've got, and you're right on the brightness settings... the brightest is almost hard to look at

I carry the detach carry handle in my gear with me so if I have an optics failure it won't be a big deal. I am trying to find a way to keep it attached or at least on the carbine though. In the future I plan to get some kind of flip up type BUIS.

I got both my EO's and Magnifier of eBay - both NIB... you gotta look around, but there's some decent pricing to be had there.
