How to make a home made sling

do any of ya'll have any ideas or opinions to making your own Ar15 sling from like a 1 1/2 or 2 inch webbing??....i've been thinkin bout makin my own just haven't bought anything to do it with...just looking for opinions or ideas

Over on Arfcom there is a how to. IIRC it ran about 11-12 bucks for the materials.

I used the plans above as well. I made a modification or two (I wasn't big on the double buckle) but it works really well and cost me about $14 or so in materials.

I made this sling but hated it. I then took all the materials and made my own and it works out fairly well.

not recommended...i just built it and its really uncomfortable i'm going to see if my G/F can sew on a pad kinna like a hunting rifle pad where it sits on my shoulder and stuff...it works just kinna uncomfortable
