Tighten the buffer a bit.

The buffer tube itself holds the retainer down. thats why you screw it in far enough so it holds the retainer firmly in place. The retainer then holds the buffer in place. Only thing that moves is the buffer after the weapon is fired, not the buffer tube. The retainer is always under pressure from the buffer tube so it should not move. My retainer has no wiggle. Its held tightly by the buffer. If you have wiggle, your buffer tube isn't screwed in tightly enough against the retainer.

Alrighty, I will check again tomorrow. Best I can tell the buffer tube is touching the retainer nipple piece and is well over the edge of the retainer itself. It only wiggles if I push the buffer back, I'll update when I take it back apart and re-tighten it.

Thanks for all your help guys.

For general all around use I prefer the 2 pt.
I like to use the 1pt. slung to the left side for transition to pistol. That way you can let go and it drops out of the way.

From looking at your pics you should be fine. If you go another turn in it will put to much presure on the retainer or not let it come up at all.

Perhaps youre right, hard to tell from the pic on my end. I just know my retainer has 0 wobble. Maybe the hole is of slightly different spec.
