Anybody ordered directly from Rock River?

Just wondering if any of you guys had ever ordered directly from Rock River Arms?

I ordered a few things from them last night, but have not received a confirmation email, even though my receipt stated that I would receive such an email in minutes. Honestly, I am getting a little aggravated now.

Anybody had similar experiences with them? Thanks.

i stopped even considering RRA for AR part's due to thier crazy long waits on everything RRA.

i dont see the need to give them my hard earned $, when i can get parts that are just as good (if not better) faster, and for the same price, or less.

ive read of 8-12 month wait's on rifle's, upper's, and lower's from RRA...thats just crazy to me when my LMT upper was here from a diffrent state in 3 day's.

The only things I ordered were a spare bolt, firing pin, and the "oh shoot' kit. Surely it wont take that long to get such a small package from Illinois to Georgia.

I love their rifles, but this may be the last RRA parts I buy.

Historically, RRA has given priority to complete rifles. Uppers with stainless barrels or different twist rates would have longer wait times.

To me, 8 weeks isn't too unreasonable. I personally think it's better than buying one from a shop that has been finger effed to death by tire kickers.

I got mine back when they were about $700ish, and it was an 8 week wait back then ('02). At the current prices some people are paying, I might consider other options as well. One thing's for sure, RRA makes a nice rifle, whether the Mil-Spec Police think so or not.

Anyone that orders from the RRA factory what they could get from Pete at Rock River Arms Products should not be trusted!
