Need help with YHM Flip front sight

I lost the main pin on my YHM flip fron sight. I dont know how, it was just gone when I pulled my rifle out of my Jeep today after the range session.

It is not the detent that lets it lock and unlock, it is the main pin that it pivots on.

Can anyone tell me what the pin is? Is it a roll pin? Solid pin? Is it more like some kind of fastener or rivet?

I cannot for the life of me figure how a brand new sight, with less than 300 rounds through this new AR, could fall apart. Tell me YHM isnt crap parts??

Do you see any kind of method that might be holding this pin in? Detent? Anything?? C'mon, pound it out and let me know!

If you aint lyin' to me , then that doesnt make sense. How can a manufacturer expect a pin to stay put with nothing holding it in while taking a hammering from 5.56mm??
