That looks like a beautiful lower but that price is WAY out of line. Most billet lowers go for for $120-150. Take a peak at the Sun Devil billet lower in the link below, I have heard great things about it.

That looks like a sweet ass lower, but you could have a built DPMS lower for less than that with a stock and everything.

It's a sweet looking lower for sure but it's twixe what a good stipped lower costs and the aluminum is standard stock.

You can get some nice stripped lowers for $110 to $150. Probably just as good in the end.

Sure is pretty though

I am by no means an AR expert, Just recently got into them.

But everything I've read about lowers is that they are one of the least important parts in a build. I'm not saying you want a junk lower, but the $79 lowers from Superior Arms seem to work as well as the more expensive ones.

Spend you money where it matters, quality lower parts kit, good barrel, mil spec bolt and carrier.

Take the money you saved by not buying the lower and spend it on optics so you won't be one of those guys with a $1,400 Ar-15 with a $29 Walmart special scope on it.

A lower is a lower, as long as they meet the spec, and companies don't do business for long if they don't. Pick a rollmark you like and go for it!

A lower, is a lower, is a lower, unless it's a Hesse/Vulcan or an Olympic. Avoid those like the plague.

You should worry about getting a top notch bolt carrier group, like a Bravo Company, LMT, or Colt. It is the heart of any AR rifle, and outside of defective magazines, the source of most of the ARs potential problems.

Another thing to consider when building, is a quality lower parts kit. I like the RRA kits with the two-stage trigger. DPMS has been known to put out some kits containing out-of-spec parts. Buyer beware.

$285 for a lower is obscene
