Has anyone heard of this outfit?

Fulton Armory Home Page

Without any firsthand experience yet I'm very interested in either the National Match or the Varmint rifle from Fulton Armory. The prices seem pretty good, even with the upgraded Kreiger barrels.

How important is a 24" barrel versus a 20" barrel anyway? A good local friend of mine with lots of AR experience says he has no muzzle flash on his DPMS with a 24" barrel which would indicate all the gases are burned off by the time the bullet exits the muzzle I would think. Is there anything left with regard to potential velocity between a 20" and 24" barrel?

Check out that Titan AR-10 while you're in there. Nice rifle!

I got a 24" for the extra weight and stability way out there at the end of the barrel. It's like a bell curve with barrel length... The difference between a 16" barrel and a 20" barrel is larger than the difference between a 20 and a 24" barrel... I don't notice any muzzle flash on mine either, if it matters...

My brother has used them for some worn on his M1 Carbine and said he liked them. He brought a catalog home and the prices were a little high IMO for their AR stuff. Plus they're in MD so if you buy a rifle you only get a low cap mag with it - LOL
