Magpul Pmags

I have heard that these mags are the best for an ar. I have not heard why though. Any reason these mags surpass the standard mags r the other brands of poly mags??

They work and are durable.

No reason to replace all your current mags with P-mags, but buying P-mags is a good thing.

P-mags can be run over by a truck; try that with GI mags.

They also come with a dust cover, and some have a window so you can see how many rounds remain. And, finally, they come in a variety of colors so the collars can match the cuffs.

Do a search on YouTube for PMAG and you will find lots of videos of them being torture tested.

They sure look good, I have half a dozen of them, but i'm not giving up my USGI mags, only time will tell if the PMAGs are truly better than USGI mags.

I like my USGI mags with MagPul followers.

They are cheaper than PMags.

I can't bring myself to purchase more then the test one I have.... and WHO THE HELL DRIVES OVER THEIR MAGS?

USGI mags are aluminum. They were ment to be disposable. Lose it in the field and forget about it.

During actual training, US Gov't doesn't want to pay for new mags all the time, so you retain them. Busted up, banged up, etc. You keep them and reuse them.

I don't treat my mags the same way I use to treat USMC mags. Therefore, I can't see forking over the extra $$ for the PMags.

You can buy the PMags, that leaves more of the cheaper USGI mags with MagPul followers for me.

I just read some reviews of PMags and they werent that good. Seems that PMags dont fit properly in all AR-15's and even had some jammed rounds in teh mags. I choose to stick with my USGI's with Magpul followers as well.
