I looked at them earlier. I picked out a rifle kit that I liked, but it included the stock and handle and didn't have an option to exclude it for credit like it did for the LPK. Do you think that if I called them, they would make the order a little more custom for me? So that I don't pay extra for parts that I already have?

Del-ton kits don't come with the removable carry handle, magazine, and sling.

I paid $525 for my FFE kit with the fully assembled upper, including shipping.

Del-ton would be $475 for the M4 kit, plus $75 for the carry handle, plus $10 for the mag, and $5 for a cheap GI sling. Then you have to add shipping on, which will add at least $10-$15.

If you want the Removable Carry handle on the A3 upper the FFE kits are cheaper than Del-Ton. If you don't want the carry handle, or if you want an A2 upper Del-Ton will save you some money.

Not knocking Del-Ton's kits, never handled one, they have a good reputation. I was going to order a Del-Ton when I saw the FFE kits advertised. Del-Ton does give you many more options if you want to customize your rifle. They also have 6.8 SPC and 7.62x39 Kits.

From what I understand, Fire for Effect is actually a division of CMMG. They're both located in my small hometown. Fire for Effect runs the CMMG range.
