Is $230.00 dollars for a complete lower a good price ,its a dpms with a pardus stock? I'm sure I can get it for around 210.00 out the door. just don't know about dpms .

seems like a ok price because you figure about $140-150 for the lower and transfer, $60 for a lower kit and $50 for the stock.

Cheapest lowers I've seen were $89, but you'd still have to pay shipping, and a transfer fee at your FFL. If you figure $8 to ship it and $25 for the transfer fee you're at $122 for the receiver.

Like Zac07 said, lower parts kit will run you at least $60 (plus shipping) and that stock is $49.95 at Sportsmans Guide (plus shipping) If you figure $5 shipping for each of them that brings your total up to $242.

Some of the AR-15 snobs will poo-poo the DPMS and call them "Lower Tier" guns. They'll bring up a chart that shows it not having a bunch of features that the "Top Tier" AR-15's have.

But for your average AR-15 owner the DPMS lower will be fine. And you aren't buying a whole DPMS, just the lower receiver.

At $210 out the door I don't see how you could build one cheaper.
