ARs, Sig, and Bush-sada

All,

I have decided that this will be the summer when I finally buy myself a EBR. I am looking at the M4gerys, the Sig556 or should I wait for the Bush-sada?

My Dad has a Bushy AR-15 and I like it but am personally leaning toward the Sig556. Has anyone on here shot the Sig at all or know where I could find a performance review of some kind. I have only held one once and was pretty impressed with the build quality and its improvements on the AR platform but found it a bit front heavy. Is that due to the gas piston? Also what is it like trying to clean a gas piston rifle? I hate trying to clean the gas tube on the ARs.

Any thoughts and range reports on the Sig are welcome. Thank you all in advance.

Your friendly neighborhood Idaho Vandal.

I'm waiting for the Bush-ada. I think it'll be worth it.

All I want is an HK416 gas piston 5.56 and an AR57 5.7.

I don't get it. What's the purpose of taking a .223 and making it into a weaker, more expensive, less effective round?

EDIT: Beisdes being kinda cool. Pointless, but cool.

Not all of us have access to a private 100 acre farm to shoot .223. I am allowed to shoot 5.7 at my local indoor range. The AR57 has a 50 round horizontal magazine with bottom ejection through the mag well. It is a top half system that will fit onto any AR-15 lower for less cost than an $1,800 FN PS90. 5.7 ammo is dropping in price (the price of every other caliber is going up). If you buy 5.7 ammo in bulk it is reasonable.

The Sig 556 is front heavy because of the handguards IIRC. Oh, and most AR stuff won't work on them. And FWIW, you don' ever really need to clean the gas tube on a regular AR.
