My account got stimulated through direct deposit a week or two ago...I got the money before the letter explaining the money.

The difference between rich and wealthy people and middle/working class people is that the former protect their money and the latter piss it away. Now you can all say, "but it is supposed to stimulate the economy," not be saved. There are many ways to do both, buy gold or silver, pay for an improvement to your home (most people's only real investment), buy stocks to name a few. A recession is coming, hence the check and this is just the tip of the iceberg. You all may have wished you had used that money more wisely in a few months when times get hard.

If you have three hundred thousand or more in various retirement plans, a lot of equity or a paid off house, some precious metals then disregard the above statement. My check went to buying silver, which will go up as our dollar and economy tank...

Built the wife's new AR15.
Model 1 Sales 20inch flattop kit and a Superior Arms stripped lower.
It's her coming home present for when she gets back from Iraq.

The rest went into paying extra towards the car.

I got my chinese economic stimulus check yesterday...

1/2 went into savings, the other 1/2 is for medical bills and some toys for my AK - woo hoo.
