Project Fuzzy Bunny

I am in the process of adding a little tacticoolness to my AR. I just received the first batch of items for the build. I got in a new GG&G rear BUIS and a Pmag to add to my Rock River lower. I am blown away at the quality of the Pmag, the follower is super smooth and overall feels like a very strong mag. The GG&G BUIS appears to be excellent quality, can't say much more until I get it installed.

Here is the plan for the build:

Rock River Lower $225 for the complete lower
Cavalry Arms 6 pos stock
Hogue Grip $17
Magpul Pmag $17
GG&G BUIS $79
6" Aluminum Rail $10
Promag vertical grip $8
Viking Tactics Flashlight Mount $20
Surefire G2 with CREE 170 lumen LED lamp $50

Still waiting on:
CMMG 14.5" Lightweight Midlength Upper $510
-----------------------------------------------

Total: $936

I got in my orders for the vertical grip, rail and flashlight mount today. I must say that I am EXTREMELY impressed with the Promag vertical grip. It mounts super solid and feel great, it can't be beat for the price. I also received my Viking Tactical offset flashlight mount. It seems to be a very solid mount and places the flashlight in a perfect position. Again it is a nice piece of equipment for the price.

All I am waiting on now is my CMMG upper. I hope to get shipping confirmation late this week or early next week. I am VERY excited to finish this build, it will be my first taste of some tacticoolness with the vertical grip, flashlight ect.

-Derek

I got my CMMG upper last week. The gas block loosened up while shooting it. I found out that they didn't locktite the set screws. I was pissed off at the range, but can't do anything about it. I called them up and complained and they said sorry and gave me instructions on how to fix it. I'm going to work on it tonight and hopefully get to sight it in this weekend. I haven't heard anything but good things about CMMG so hopefully this was just a slip up. Other than the loose gas block, upper was great and cycled reliabley.

I finally received my upper today and I couldn't be happier. CMMG really puts together a nice product and it was well worth the wait. Even with the FVG and flashlight it is much MUCH lighter then my old Rock River midlength.

I cant wait to pop her cherry at the range!!

Nice! And a new TV as well? Did someone get his stimulus check? Hmmm?
