Pistol Cal ARs?

Hey guys..
Im working on building 2 more ARs.
Already have 1 AR and want more.

I like the idea of a .40s&w since both my XDs are .40.

I have one DPMS 16" Bull Barrel... Shoots great.
Building a lightweight 16" for the Girlfriend.
Either thinking of a .40 or .22lr....
What yall think?

Anybody have a Pistol Cal upper?

Thanks,
Jonathan

I built up a 9mm AR using the OLY pattern upper with 32 round sten mags. It a blast to shoot. I'm planing on picking up a Spikes .22 upper to stick on one of stripped lowers thats been hanging out in the safe, after the initial run is out and I see how well they run.

I've got a similar setup, Hess instead of Oly (no comment) and you can beat the cost of Sten mags, they're dirt cheap.

Sten mags have gone up in cost lately. But when I bought them a year or so ago I paid $4 each. Pistol cal AR's are way too much fun.

I've got a RRA 9mm AR that is fantastic. Have you found a 40 cal upper and mags? Can't say as I've looked, but most of what I did find when I was deciding on the RRA was in 9mm and .45 ... let us know what you find!

I have had a 40 and 45 and currently have an Olympic 9mm.

The 45 was the most fun to shoot, kind of like a poor mans Thompson.

Wish I still had the 40 and 45
