Rear iron sight question

I wasnt sure I could afford good quality BUIS, but looks like they are in the future real soon. Already have the YHM Flip Front sight/gas block and will add a YHM or ARMS rear flip sight this or next week.

In the meantime, I had already purchased a cheap set of iron sights (UTG non-flip/removeable iron sights). Tonight, I mounted the rear UTG sight to my AR flat top rail. I noticed, while peering through the sight aperture, that this sight has a slight cant to the left as seen while looking through the sight. Is this normal? It definitely is noticeable but is enough cant leftward that it doesnt look to be machining mistake. It looks intentional. Since I have never used an AR before now, I have never looked through the sights on one and have no reference.

These sights feel well built and have a good sturdy click when setting the windage knobs. Still, you get what you pay for and I dont know if these are worth a crap or not.

From ARFCOM

Q: My A2's (or detachable carry handle) rear sight is crooked, is there a problem?
A: No, that is perfectly normal. While the amount of cant varies, as long as you can zero you're good to go. The sight is designed to have some play to allow it to operate in less than ideal conditions, a spring ensures the sight's aperture will always be the same axis.

I recommend you take a look at getting the Troy rear BUIS. IMO, it's the best one out there. Very low profile and extremely solid.
