What he said.......

Nice lower!

I'd like to try a Timney, I've got RRA 2 stage and its very nice but 3 vs 4.5 pounds is a big difference. A single stage would probably be better suited for a fighting carbine though, but 3 lbs is awful light in a fighting carbine as well.........

I'd recommend Mega for your upper receiver, fit should be great. I am tickled pink with my barrel Steve at ADCO set me up with, 18" White Oak midlength gas SPR with a Wylde chamber, bead blasted SS:

i was originally planning a 16" midlength upper...but now im going this route:

LMT 14.5" carbine upper, Young MFG BCG, Danile Defense lite 9.0 handguard, Troy battle sight's F&R, VLTOR lo-pro gas block, and a VLTOR flash hider.

waiting on my stimulus check to purchase the upper, flash hider, and gas block.

the rest will be purchased one at a time, on a weekly basis, until complete.

everything but the DPMS LPK has been purchased at RainierArms.com very fast shipping, and great price's.

the DPMS LPK was purchased locally.

nice rifle!

as for now im going to leave the DPMS single stage trigger in it...once my rifle is built i can fire it and see what i like and dislike about the trigger...then i will go from there.

my rifle will most likely never be used for fighting, but i want it to be willing and able if called upon.

im amazed at how often plans change in an AR build....alot like building car's. It is a very fun build so far...im excited for monday! (getting my car tuned at 9am, then when i get home at 11am...i can install my MIAD grip, and share picture's with everyone.
