AR15.com....
is a bunch of bull! i'm so closing my account over there! i've never seen such a stupid list of rules for posting on their EE section! how freaking lame!
anyhow these are the 2 that keep getting my threads closed over there... #15. The seller CANNOT reply to their own ad within 72 hours of anyone's post (including their own) for any reason. The 72-hour countdown for the seller restarts with each new reply to the ad by ANYONE. lame! i can understand not "upping" your post within 72 hours, but if you have a legit post on your thread, you should be allowed to answer it there! that's why people post on your thread! DUH! f'n f-tards! #17. Sellers -- If 72 hours have not passed since the last post by anyone, all questions should be addressed by IM, e-mail, or edit ONLY! basically, they should just turn the EE section on their site to a craigslist type classified! no point in allowing people to post when you cant reply back in the post for 3 days. you can only do it via email! ummm isn't that how craigslist works?! (_!_) munchers! sorry, but this is just stupid! i moderate on a couple forums, and i've never seen such strict rules for EE. i guess the owners of ARFCOM are Asinine retarded fools... heh... end rant.. now time to close my account over there. ps. sorry for you folks who go there frequently who are offended by this. but they're really getting on my nerves. pms from mods saying "you did this wrong, go fix it or else", or stuff like you posted your feedback in the feedback section, just move it in the same section and you wont be penalized... ghey!

I refuse to sell things on arf.com for that very reason. And to add to that I cant stand 99% of the members over there. The only thing I ever posted were ak rivet sets. I posted them at 10 at night and when I got home from work the next day at 4 the thread was a mess. People posted early in the morning they wanted a kit, then around 11:30 a.m. posted that I did not respond back in a timely fashion and they no longer wanted a kit because I did not respond back within a few hours. Hell I am a teacher and the site is blocked, so the earliest I could check it was when I got home at 4. I then reply to my post telling people that I check it when I get home from work and then my post gets the lockdown by the mods. I will never buy anything from arf.com either. I tried once and it basically ends up turning into a bidding war on items.

About the only place I go on ARF.com anymore is the hometown section. There are good guys there, some of which I've trained with in NY state. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of inflated egos and armchair commandos
I took a carbine/armorers course with one of the owners and he seemed nice. I think ARF.com has just gotten too big for it's own good. I understand your frustration with the OVER-moderation. I had my account locked for what they referred to as "ad-stomping" Before I knew it, I had received an e-mail informing me that my account would be locked for 24 hours. I think some of the mods have a touch of the Napoleon complex....and far too much free time.

ar15.com sucks flat out. Just a bunch of egos conflicting over there, when not too many people know what they are talking about other than talking out of their ass. I go into the ak section to help some of those guys out but that is it.

I go to ARFCOM for laughs, there are a lot of dumb people over there. AR and gun tech I get from here and Pirate4x4.com's outdoor section. There is more actual tech going on at Pirate than ARFCOM, and you'll get real answers not "Colt/Noveske/LaRue/Bravo Co/MPI/staking/your gun has no pony so you suck" answers.

Arfcom is a pretty good site. I like the way it is layed out and there are a lot of good post over there. I was booted last year though because I stepped on lot of toes of the regulars and the vendors.
