model1

Has anyone ever bought from Model1. I'm thinking about buying a kit, minus a stripped lower from them for my first AR. Any input on this?

I was impressed with the quality of their parts.

Fit and Finish was great!

My bro bought a kit from them, he is totally happy with it. He opted for the hard chromed BCG - staking was iffy but kit is nice overall.

I bought a kit from them. I liked their service so much I bought my PRS stock from them even though it was $10 more expensive than the other retailers and $50 more than ebay.

Thumbs up

Very happy with their service. I even talked to the guy that was building my upper while he was building it.

Also like to add, after I got my upper I called to ask who made it. I heard they were olympic but when I got it I found it was something else. It ended up being an Advanced Ordnance upper. Good quality and finish. I never heard of them but it looks like they do a lot of them for the government.

Which part? That it was an advanced ordnance upper? I called them and asked. He asked me some questions like were the T numbers in the rail painted white or were they black. Black meant it was advanced ordnance. If they were white it meant it was LAR grizzly or something like that.

I did some web searching for advanced ordnance after that and didn't find much.
