That's a whole new upper assembly for more than twice the price!

$550 is a complete upper- not just the bolt!
Once they are caught up on backorders they'll be selling bolts only. I'm still waiting for my call once my number is up so I can get some customers theirs. |

I completely understand you p.o.v.
Makes perfect sense. Be sure to drop us a line with a review when you get it. |

Apart from the gunk that accumulates with the Ciener kit, the primary reason for a dedicated upper is that the barrel is sized correctly to the bullet and the twist rate is suited to the 22LR so that it will stabilize the bullet. That gives you accurate shooting. If you are just trying to hit a can or some spinners I guess it doesn't matter. If you were doing some serious shooting it would make a great deal of difference.

But you'e not comparing like products! Once Spike's is selling the stand alone bolt it will probably be comparable to what the Ciener was. A Spike's complete upper was the same price when they were using the Ciener kits for them.
