For those who have used the Black Dog magazines for the Ceiner .22 kits, is there a fit/function difference between the older "banana" magazines and the newer "full profile" magazines? Anything other than looks?

For the most part no. He has made changes to the follower as well to aid in feeding.

I have some of the older ones, and personally I think they're crap but I dont have any of the newer ones so I can't compare them.

But the older ones fit fine.

That's odd to hear as BDM is great to work with. I've had one customer have a problem with one of his M261 mags and is what taken care of right away.
