Metal framed guns are proven too, the majority of us here have (not necessarily exclusively) plastic guns now.

I've got some metal AR mags still, no reason to get rid of them; but PMags are the ****

I love to read marketing brochures too. They are called brochures for a reason, they are trying to sell you something!

I have had this issue with 69-75 grain bullets in my reloads, If I use the length I always did in GI mags they will not function properly, if I take them back to spec length they perform perfectly. My M15 A4 has accepted every aftermarket part I've tried and the only stock part I really dont like is the handgaurds, fit is sloppy and they feel cheap, oh well they are on my replacement list anyway.

I've got a CTR on the 6920; no wiggle in it at all. I didn't like the MIAD grip so I went with Tangodown battlegrip and vertical.

CTR is Mil-Spec on a Mil-Spec Armalite. It has slight wiggle front to back, it's like the Friction Lock does not work. If the lock is engaged or if it isn't engaged, the wiggle is still there.

The issue with the MIAD is with the frontstraps, not the backstraps. 2 of the front straps will not work with the LEC lower. Even if they fit properly, it just isn't all that comfortable of a grip to me, so I'm looking for something different. Different meaning suggestions, not "MagPul is the greatest" or "Metal vs. Plastic" I expect that at AR Forum, that's why I post here, not there.

Armalite has not just been around for a long time, they invented the AR-15 platform. Colt bought the design from them and now they get credit for the AR (but Armalite actually filed the patent on the design). Funny how history get's muddy over time and internet postings

AR stands for "Armalite".....i dont think that many folks are confused as to the AR's origins. However, the historical ArmaLite Division of Fairchild Engine and Airplane Corporation whos cheif engineer being Eugene Stoner, is not necesarilly the same company as Armalite Inc. 2 is today. The current Armalite company is 4 or 5 companies removed from the original Armalite division. At this point, the only thing they still have is the name.

Kinda like Kahr with the Thompson name.

The Armalite of today is the old Eagle Arms, and to quote you, "Funny how history get's muddy over time and internet postings "
