... and I'm SOLD!

I've been dying to get my hands on an ACOG to see what all the fuss is about. I went on Trijicon's website and found a retailer close by and went over on my lunch break.

they had a TA31F mounted on a display rifle. The owner said to look out the window with it.. my first instinct was to close my left eye.. i remembered that these were meant for both eyes open shooting and opened both eyes... The BAC (Bindon Aiming Concept) worked right away without any thought. Target acquisitions was super fast and natural. i looked across the street and scanned for a target with both eyes open... when I picked a target about 200 yards away the focus immediately went to my right eye and the reticle was on target.

I also checked out the TA33 (3x mag) which has a longer eye relief but smaller field of view. For me the TA31F felt more natural.. plus the 4x mag is awesome

seeing is believing... if you are looking for an optic and are not sure what to get... or think ACOG's are slow... take a look through one and your mind will be made up.

As soon as I have the cash I will have one

Only thing that sucks about an ACOG is you can't own just one, or 2. I actually need about 2 more but because I am poor I have to make due with just 2.

I think it is best of you don't even try an ACOG, that way you will never need it.

i agree! i mean i really don't need it, but the fact that i have it... i might as well use it!

I thought the BAC was just that a concept not a feature built into a scope. You should be able to use it with nearly any scope out there.

once you used it, then you figured out you needed it. I am just saying if you never get to try one, you will never know that you needed it

it is both. the bright red reticle + both wide open = BAC.

this reticle makes it natural to do.

i think he was cured of getting another black rifle, but i dont think he is cured of getting accessories... so the side effects are still there.
