Help me decide.... please

I've owned a Bushmaster Hbar for quite awhile but rarely get to shoot it. Probably 3 times in last ten years. Well that's going to change. Went hunting recently and spent some quality time plinking and target shooting and I've got the bug BIG TIME....

I've been pricing parts as I have carry handle and want a flat top for optics. I'd like a few other things, grips, floating handguard, etc. Looks like I'd be adding around $400 not counting what scope I decide on. Either I do that or just sell the Bushy and go with RRA which I'm leaning towards. Nothing tactical wanted. I just want a tack driver out to 100yards.
What would my HBar sell for in excellent condition? What would you guys/gals do... give me a list of parts... Thanks

I'd sell the A2 HBAR upper and buy the upper you want. An Bushmaster A2 HBAR upper complete with the bolt carrier group and charging handle should sell pretty quick at $350-$375 shipped.

I took my RRA 20" Heavy Barrel Varmint gun out to the club this weekend. zero'ed in my scope with some .223 Remington ammo at 100 yards. Finally put one into the crosshairs of the target. Wind was gusting to 30 mph but there was a good deal of tree protection at least up to 95 yards on the 100 yard range.

Switched to Black Hills 68 gr Match HP's and put the next 10 into 1" at the crosshair. Most of them were within the center 1/2". And that was not with the butt of the gun on a bag. It was on my shoulder with my right hand under the butt for support. That is not a steady a support as with a bag giving you a dead steady crosshair on target.

I think the gun is terrific. It did a great job this weekend. I met a man from Eastern Europe who was shooting a CZ rifle and he took some shots with my gun and remarked that he felt it was extremely accurate. He was very surprised that it was doing as well or better than his 28" barrel CZ.

You won't go wrong with an RRA or RRA upper.
