2. I'll tell you that I don't recommend the mount from Surefire (plastic version)...frickin thing broke trying to get it to close on my G2...I've got a VLTOR aluminum mount arriving today, I'll let you know how it is...

I hear the switch costs almost twice what the light costs. Though you should be able to find generic brand ones on ebay or gunbroker or something.

I have the Vltor mount on mine and it is very solid. I would recommend it to anyone.
ETA: I have a G2L in the Vltor mount.

Just put the VLTOR mount on with a G2...I like it. I might be setting the bar low because it didn't break upon installation, but it seems pretty good so far.

Do they still make the click switch for the G2/L? I don't like the press and twist to lock the light on.

I have a Pelican pressure switch for some other brand flashlight.
I'll have to go try it on my G2 to see if it works. Does the G2 have some proprietary size cap or voltage or something? |
