Need some help from an AR guy

So there is a guy local that offered to sell me one of his build ARs. If you can help me determine if this is a good deal please let me know. I'll pm you with pics and what details I know.

This is all he has told me. I'm new to ARs so help is needed

Essential Arms lower with a J&T 16",M4 upper. Fixed front sight and a GG&G rear BUIS

Does J&T make good uppers? I could go for this one or the bargin bin CMMG or keep looking

How much?

I like Ace Stocks myself, my XCR has something like it, and that fluted barrel looks trick! All depends on how much he is offering for it.

That is not a M4 upper, that is a "fluted" barrel.

Me personaly, I'd keep looking.............

See the grooves (flutes) milled into it? That's a fluted barrel. It's supposed to help lighten the barrel while keeping it's rigidity and help with cooling.

Unless you really want this rifle I would keep looking, or offer $675. The parts are good quality, but you can find a better deal if you just look around online. Just my opinion.

In my opinion, that's not a bad rifel at all, but it's a bit overpriced. If you can get it about $100 cheaper, I'd take it myself, but if not, keep looking.
