corrosion X
anyone tried corrosion X gun oil? I have for my XD and found it to work fantastic, just wondering your thoughts on it for my AR ? I know that they want to be "wet" but this oil does not collect grim, dust, dirt or anything else and "bonds" to the metal parts for a slick surface. Your thoughts????

It smells like gear oil to me. I'm sure you could do worse for a gun lube.
Oil does not bond to metal. That's marketing hype, snake oil promises.
