The new DPMS hunting rifles

I love my lr-308, but i wish they wouls have made these new hunting rifles when i bought mine. Just the weight advantage would be great, not to mention the compinsator. DPMS comes through again! I love my 308 for hunting!

I saw the ad in G&A. I still like the look of the LR but I think I'm going to stick with a .223 with ammo costing as much as it does.

If its bought for hunting then it probably wont do much time on the range and the ammo cost would not be a consideration. I have guns for the range and guns for hunting and Im sure others do as well.

Good point. Unfortunately you cant hunt with rifle caliber in NJ, only muzzleloader.
