instead of focusing on purchasing all the parts that are needed to complete the lower just buy one part at a time soon you will have everything that you need to complete the build.
I was going to purchase a complete lower. Where can you find a complete lower for under $100!!???

you can't thats why i said get a stripped lower, then when you have a few extra bucks get a LPK, then later add a stock.

its more manageable when you spread the expense over time unfortunately inpatients sometimes gets in the way i personally find it hard to be patient when its something that i want.

sorry just re read my original post and I while i implied that you should get a stripped lower i did not actually say it.

to be more specific you should be able to get a stripped lower for under $100.

Oh, my bad. I didn't see where you said "stripped lower" I thought you meant the whole thing.

I've been patient for 2.5 years while figuring out what I wanted. And when I finally decided and have enough money saved up to get it, my f$#^%$ van needed repairs instead. OMFG.

i can definitely feel your pain when i was younger i had to rob peter to pay paul just to keep my bills paid and rely on layaway for the things i wanted.

the piece by piece concept will get you what you want it will just take some time. there is nothing wrong with used either try shopping on ar15.com there always good deals to be had there you just have to search them often and be quick when something pops up within your budget.

good luck on your quest for your ideal rifle.

Thank you.

I was just hoping to get my rifle completely before November, before we're not allowed to buy guns anymore.

so long as you a stripped lower befor that you should be good the lower is the only part that is considered a gun

OMFG!!!

It looks like CMMG has raised their prices, so it'll be even longer until I can afford to buy it. WTF!!! Now instead of $822 it's up to $970. That may not sound significant to some of you, but for me, it's a big deal (I won't get into how much I pay in child support, etc)...

Maybe I'm just not supposed to have an AR-15...
