OK. I should be ready to order the kit or parts in the next few days.

Looking again on Del Ton I am not seeing what I want at a lower price....

If you have a suggestion to get this at a lower price PLEASE let me know.

What I want:

16" midlength flattop 5.56 of course m4 feed ramps 1-7, 8, or 9 for twist

chrome lined bbl

flip up front & rear sights

what ever adj stock

A Del Ton kit would run $680......

If you have a better way of going for it let me know.

I bought stuff from model1sales.com

No idea if they have what you want but they were good to deal with and the parts were good quality.

that's been on ar15.com since yesterday....$575, all you need to add is the lower and a rear sight.

You can get a complete LMT upper for about that price and have a much better upper- yes it will cost a little bit more in the long run but the quality would be worth it. If you must have a midlength look at CMMG.

Welcome to the forum ckuplent.

I know that, you know that, but all some people look at is the price.
And I still can't figure out what the fascination is with midlength 16" uppers. I have a complete LMT, and the last 4 of my builds I have used all Colt parts for the uppers.

Yes I used to strictly price shop, then tried bargain shopping. I still think there are bargains out there, but alot less then I used to.

My $325 XD40 tac I think was one of them.
