the only .45 ACP AR's I have seen were Oly's ... what is yours?

It most likey is Oly. Those mags are pricey and hard to find. I saw guy selling a 16 rnd one on the EE for $115.

I currently own 2 Oly's and no problems. Neither in 45 though. That's sweet.

I have been wanting something in 45 ACP for a while now.

As for price of 45 acp magazines, Tommy mags and drums aren't exactly cheap either if you're comparing them to regular AK and AR mags, but I've not seen a stick mag along the tune of $100 for a magazine either.

Dont those use M3 Grease gun mags?

I'm not really sure, but I think they do, but are modified to fit the magwell/mag catch.

It is an Oly's. The original asking price was $530 without a magazine( and the mags were $79. The vendor two booths away was charging $499 with a 32 round mag, so he let me have it for $475 with a magazine. The magazine itself looks like a Thompson stick mag with an adapter for the AR magwell welded to it.

I think there was talk on ARFCOM about making a lower that took M3 mags, but I didn't follow it...
