Gas Block/Front Sight Help

Gas Block/Front Sight Help
Anyone ever upgrade their gas block to a flat top and install a flip up sight and not be able to fully lower your sight because of the hand guard?

Whats the soultion to this?

I would say either a shorter handguard or a flip up sight that mounts on the top of the rail.

I would like to have a handguard that is shorter on the top so my sight can flip down.

Can you flip the sight around so it folds forward? If it's a free float handguard, you could take a dremel to it and notch it out for clearance.

It was my wife that just told me to "turn it around". It works but looks silly.

As of now i have standard plastic handguards. I am in the market for Quad rail just dont know which 1.
