I just use a simple Glock Light. It's too long to mount on the SC I have right now so I put it to
work on the AR's 45degree canted rail.

The switch is right next to my thumb when I am holding the rifle so it's a very quick on/off if I need it.

+1. 500A is the best option if one is not using NV or compatible optics/lasers. That other crap (foregrips, wires, bipods, monopods, mag lanyards) just gets in the way and with no kill switch, it can light up when you least want it to and this can cost you your life. I don't like the pricing but the 500A has great switch controls that can be engaged with no grip shift at all and from prone, your position is lower than foregrip systems. White light ND's are a common factor in compromising your position and numbers and considerable thought needs to be undertaken by users as to why they have accessories on their AR's. A trigger you can manage, good day/night sight or optic with no batts, a good light for 50 yard illum and a few mags are all one really needs. The 900's are cool looking and that's why they sell. 500A w/MN11 lamp is far more useful for civvies and cops.

Had the same thing, threw on the bezel assy from me M3T, talk about reaching out. I like it, I havea vertical grip on my CX4, but it felt weird on the AR (guess I was use to the std forend in the Marines), since have bought a extra bezel assy just for the AR. never have looked back on the purchase.

Nice rig. I picked up a used bezel but it wouldn't fit in the Kolpin gun case so I sold it. They are nice. With my 500A I can illuminate all the way across a 1/4 mile wide river.

you'll like it! i have all their products (got it for helping them out with some stuff on their site). i just recently mounted my tiablo ma6 to my rifle. not quite as far as a thrower as the a8 or a9, but does what i want it to. i'm also in the works for sending in my a8 for the milkyspit mod. that's going to be so bright, that if a BG ever broke into my house my light will just blind him to death and i'll just save my ammo!

since i've been introduced to cpf (its been awhile now), i've quickly realized that surefires and pentagons aren't worth the money! they're good, but not for that price. i just can't see myself spending 130 bucks or more for a torch that doesn't have 200 or more lumens. considering that there are flashlights out there that can come with different settings for brightness.
