Its a Colt,hang on to it for a few years then see whats its worth.I know I know,its "just" a name and there are just as good or better AR's out there.Just wait and see......In 1994 I bought a New in box Colt Anaconda 44mag in 4" barrel for $450 OTD.Look it up now.Always just my opinion

My Armalite has those LEO markings on it too. I was looking at it the other day and found that it has M4 feedramps

It just means it was made during the ban/for california no big deal today anyways, maybe in a bit
