good news and bad news

I just picked up the rails and they look practically brand new (thats the good news) almost wish i had just just picked them up for myself except i just spent almost $400 on an AimPoint

started looking for a box to ship them in and get them ready to mail out tomorrow and the wife pointed out that tomorrow is veterans day and the post office is closed (thats the bad news) and i won't be able to mail them until Tuesday.

I found this post too late...

I just bought THIS from Aimsurplus for $59.95 and I am VERY happy with it on my S&W M&P15 Carbine.

http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/U...il_covers.html

I really couldn't beat the price!

i think you mean Aimsurplus. if you have beefy paws you will like the UTG i personally thought there was way to much bulk to them. we have a local surplus store that sold a bunch of them to a local PD dept and most of them guys are very happy with them for the price they have all said that they locked up tight

I like the VLTOR CASV system.
You can mount the rails where you need them and it's free-float.

Rail is in, rail is on, rail is awesome!!!!

T.J. is a good man. thank you bro. wasn't as hard as I thought to put on for my first time. didnt have wrench for the delta ring so I had to strip it a bit, but found out you can use a pipe wrench, and it works fine to get it off, still reusable. Only problem I had was the delta ring (lack of tool) and getting it lines up perfect for gas tube, but that was fixed. TO the range Sunday to check it out, will report.
