I only use CTRs on my ARs. Best stock ever, period.

Vltor Clubfoot for the storage and the check weld. I have heard that the CTR's don't do well shooting prone because of the bottom piece of the triangle. My clubfoot is tight not that much slop at all.

Well I'm curious where exactly you guys are placing the stock against your shoulder?

Between training and experience trying to use an A2 stock against body armor and the older LBE/LBV I've ended up with only about the lower 1/2 of the stock actually sitting in the shoulder pocket. So I don't really have a problem with stocks being in the way when I'm prone.

I just heard that on AR15.com, I can't remember where? This is definitely not from personal experience. I can tell you that I have a goattee and have never had a whisker pulled using the VLTOR which is a common complaint. I keep it short so maybe that is the difference?

I'm partial to the E-Mod Clubfoot & the CTR, but that UBR is really starting to grow on me... Can't decide which to get!
