yes or no

got a guy offering me the following items for $150.00 and several of the items are on my list.

Midwest Industries Railed hand guards $129
KAC rail covers $15 each
KAC vertical fore grip $45
A1/A2 Goose neck mount
$39
TacPoint red Dot optics $119 (aimpoint clone)

while i was looking for some inexpensive optics i had not been considering these. but after reading the reviews on ARFCOM and alot of the guys are really impressed with them and they all say that it holds its zero and has stood up to alot of abuse including being repeatedly thrown down down, buried in snow, fired on a multitude of high cal weapons and it still held its Zero.

i think the TacPoint would serve me as a plinketing optics until i can afford an Aimpoint

as most of the parts that i was going to be purchasing anyhow would cost me considerably more than the $150 with shipping should i pick this package up. its all used buy not abused and looks to be in excellent condition.

what would you guys do.

It looks like the total of the highlighted things that were on your list comes up to $228.00, add in the red dot and it's $347.00 + shipping. If everything is in that good of a condition, I'd jump on it (but that's just me). Photos would help (and you could P.M. me his information if you decide not to take it ).

I am pretty sure im going to take it. as the MI hand guards are one of the items i have been looking at pretty hard and the guards alone are $129 plus $8 shipping, not real sure on the covers i was thinking about the ladder system as opposed to the slide over. i don't have pic he actually brought all the stuff to me to look at and i told him i would let him know by monday and he agreed to hold it for me before he put it up on our local board.

and i can actually get everything for around $12 more, i figure if i dont want the rest of the stuff i could always resell it and get some of my money back.

actually you forgot to add the extra $30 as the rail covers are $15 each not for the sets.

thats the offer price all right $150 for everything.

oh and i promise you i will like the guards, a few of my buddies have them and maybe its just my inexperience but i cant really tell the difference between them and the DD 7.0 as far as feel goes. they are the primary selling point to me, as if i don't want the rest i can sell it and maybe come out with a set of decent guards for alot less than new price.

I've got a Tacpoint on my M4gery and it is a great little optic.
I am not an 'operator' and don't even play one on TV, but I can tell you that it holds zero and battery life is incredible.

I was just at my local gun shop today and he showed me a tac point he put on another guys AR he talked me into one, he can sale them to me for 75 bucks tho. Im going with a flat top upper and heck I cant get iron sights for on there for that price.

I was really impressed with the tac point, I have a hard time shooting both eyes open with anything else but I could with that.

i was looking at the bushnel aimpoint clone to get me buy until i have enough to get the real one or an eotec so i am not even sure i will keep the tacpoint but i will atleast give it a try until i can scrape the $400 bucks together

i am more of a tactical paper puncher anyhow. in nearly 20 years of packing i have only ever had to pull 2 times one was a would be attacker in a dark alley in san antonio down on the river walk, and the other was a moderate road rage issue where a guy decided he was going to try and force me off the road. hey the way i see it is he was using his truck as a 2k lbs missile and i felt my life was in danger. no need to shoot in either scenario.

i do however keep atleast 2 pistols on me 90% of the time and 12 gage shotty in the trunk
