I like the Massad as well. I just hope HK and Magpull get guns to us before any future legislation.

The Masada and the SCAR look remarkably similar. Isn't the Masada an American made weapon and the SCAR a FN (French?) made weapon?

With AR's that use the piston system is the bolt/carrier similar or are they considerably different? I would assume you could buy a piston upper and put it with about any lower?

The bolt is the same the bolt carrier needs to be changed.

Pof

I have put two of my POF's ( I have a 10.5 SBR on a A1 registered MG lower + two 16" and the wifes SPR) through crap that most M-4's have never seen. I was told that the POF doesn't like sand ans would take a crap if there was even a little bit in it. I took one mine out and threw it in some nice north utah sand, cycled the action and did it again just to make sure. I fire a beta through it and tossed it in the sand agian. I have abused and beat the crap out of them and they still run with no problems. The wife treats hers like a safe queen and won't let me abuse it. I would like to have the HK, but the Massada comes first, if I don't add a fifth POF to the family (thinking a 30. I would put my money into a POF instead of waiting for the HK. As for the massada I it makes it to the markwt in time.
