The Masada and the SCAR look remarkably similar. Isn't the Masada an American made weapon and the SCAR a FN (French?) made weapon?

I have abused and beat the crap out of them and they still run with no problems. The wife treats hers like a safe queen and won't let me abuse it. I would like to have the HK, but the Massada comes first, if I don't add a fifth POF to the family (thinking a 30
